A distributed compressed-air storage power generating system comprises: a distributed compressed-air apparatus that is operated on excess power other than power to be transmitted, of power generated by a generator; a compressed-air storage section that distributes and stores air compressed by the compressed-air apparatus; and a regeneration apparatus that implements distribution and regeneration with compressed air discharged from the compressed-air storage section. The compressed-air storage section is constructed by joining many compressed-air storage containers with high earthquake resistance formed into a cylindrical shape to communicate therewith, and hence compressed air can be selectively discharged from the respective compressed-air storage containers.
