Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently attain the cache of data obtained from a remote node on a distributed data system within the restriction of a capacity.
CONSTITUTION: A distributed data managing system 1 respectively returns the data present in its own node, or the data obtained from the remote node after making an obtaining request to the remote node when the data are not present in its own node, by a request staging means 12, at the time of receiving a data access request issued from an application program 2. The cache of the obtained data is operated within the normal capacity, and a data replacement system at that time is automatically justified to an LRU or an MRU based on an access inclination monitoring means 16.
