Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the load of both a central processing unit and a circuit by providing a primary processing function to a terminal and therefore eliminating the need to collect the analog data periodically for the central processing unit. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 2 contains a transmitter-receiver 21, a data processor 22 and a data file 23. A central processing unit 1 transmits previously the analog variation width values corresponding to analog input signals A1-An to the terminal 2 and stores then in the file 23. The processor 22 compares an analog signal A of the preceding time with an analog signal A of this time and sends the signal A to the unit 1 through the transmitter-receiver 21 and a data transmission line 6 only in case the analog variation width value is larger than that sent from the unit 1 and stored in the file 23. The data processing carried out at the terminal 2 is also done in the same way at a terminal 3 and others.
