Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the low-cost lens fixation structure which is free from deterioration in optical characteristics of a lens by inserting rings into the opening part of an axial hole across the lens and welding the outer peripheral parts of the rings to the end surfaces of a lens holder by a laser. CONSTITUTION:The lens holder 20 has a flange 20B on one end surface of a cylindrical main body 20A, a slit 22 which is parallel to the axis is formed in a shell part, and the internal diameter of the axial hole 21 of the lens holder 20 is larger than the external diameter of a distributed refractive index lens 1. The couple of rings 30A and 30B which have the larger diameter than the distributed index lens 1 are provided. The distributed index lens 1 is inserted into the axial hole 21 of the lens holder 20 and the rings 30A and 30B are inserted into both the opening parts of the axial hole 21 and made to abut on the end surfaces of the distributed reflective index lens 1. In this state, the outer peripheral parts of the rings 30A and 30B are welded to the end surfaces of the lens holder 20 by the laser. Consequently, the optical characteristics of the lens 1 do not deteriorate and the low-cost lens fixation structure is obtained.
