PURPOSE: To prevent sealability from being degraded by projecting a branch pipe, to which the afterward section of an auxiliary pipe having a semicircular or an angular cut cross section at its forward end is installed rotatably, into the center of the main body of a distributor in a pneumatic conveying device which transfers pulverized coal into a blast furnace.
CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary pipe 10 which has a semicircular section or an angular cut, is projected into a main cylindrical body 16, and is inserted into a branch pipe 7a through gas leakproof seals 11 and 12. Then, the auxiliary pipe 10 is rotated by a motor 15 by way of gears 13 and 14 allowing the angle of rotation of the pipe 10 to be set in such a way that the relation of the stated curve of a trigonometric function is maintained between the angle of rotation of the auxiliary pipe 10 and a distribution ratio of pulverized material which are branched into the branch pipe 7. This configuration prevent the degradation of sealability accompanied with intermesh of pulverized coal.
