A delivery device 16A provided to a movable rail 6 is equipped with a friction drive wheel 17 freely switchable between a drive state for propelling the vehicle 1 and a drive-releasing state through the medium of the friction drive surface 4a, and a friction drive wheel moving means 18 for reciprocating the friction drive wheel 17 between a retracting position R which can abut onto the friction drive surface 4a of the vehicle 1 supported in the movable rail 6 and an advancing position F which can abut onto the friction drive surface 4a of the vehicle 1 supported in the main rail 11a.
