Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method and equipment for controlling digital information distribution.
CONSTITUTION: Digital information is logically composed so as to contain a previous use history and an allowable access window before they are encrypted by a header part 35 and a body part 40. An end user decodes the digital information, uses a control information access device in a state that prevents an illegal conduct and accesses the digital information. A controller which is constituted in a control information access device allows the end user to access non-control information. Controlled digital information can be accessed as long as a condition which is designated by an information provider is fitted.
