PURPOSE: To change the content of message, destination and distribution time by detecting a distribution time designation message registered in a voice store and forward equipment.

CONSTITUTION: A subscriber sends a signal representing the change in the content of the distribution time designation message, destination number and distribution time desired for change sent to a telephone set 10 to the voice store and forward equipment 13. A CPU12 recognizes the signal and when the signal is used for re-recording the message, a new message is sent from the telephone set 10 and registered in the store and forward equipment 13. When the signal is for message distribution time change and destination change, the telephone set 10 sends a new distribution time signal or a destination signal to change the distribution time or the destination number being the corresponding distribution time designation message arrangement attribute in the storage area of the CPU12. Then the telephone set 10 sends a restoration signal of a call, an exchange 11 recognizes the signal to restore the call between the telephone set 10 and the voice store and forward equipment 13.
