Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a water soluble dithiocarbamate polymer which can chelate heavy metals from a waste water containing the heavy metals and precipitate the heavy metals in such a form that it is easily removable from water.
CONSTITUTION: A water-soluble ethylene dichloride ammonia polymer having a molecular weight of 500 to 100,000 which contains 5 to 50 mole % dithiocarbamate salt groups.
