Abstract:
To improve immunity to multi-paths.
Three omnidirectional antenna elements A-C are placed in a form of a regular triangle with an interval (d) of a half wavelength (d=λ/2). Distributors 11-13 receiving exciting signals from the antenna elements A-C distribute the signals into two respectively and output the signals to combiness 21-23. The combiness 21-23 synthesize signals from the antenna elements A and B, A and C, and B and C in opposite phase to each other. Thus, three received beams having a lobe along each side of the regular triangle are generated and diversity reception is conducted by using the received beams.
