PURPOSE: To provide the title device being provided with a stems and culms-raising device having a lug capable of fixing rush and raising the stems and culms of rush in front of a reaping device provided at a front low position of under carriage, having a means for blowing up jet air to a rush dividing action zone in the forward direction thereof and capable of separating rush without injuring entangled rush.
CONSTITUTION: A stem root raising device 5 having a raising lug for fixing the stems and culms of rush and raising the stems and culms while moving to the backward upper part is provided in front of a reaping device 12 provided at a front low position of under carriage 8 of harvester having a running device 7. A rotating rush dividing body 1 rotating around a inclined shaft while keeping the starting end part thereof at a front low position and the final end part thereof at a backward upper position, is provided on the forward side of the stem root raising device 5. An air jetting means 4 for blowing up jet air to the rush dividing action zone in the rotating rush dividing body 2 is provided and the stems and culms of rush are thereby separated by a synergistic action of the jet air blowing up from the air jetting means 4 and the rotating rush dividing body 1, thus, the stems and culms of rush can be separated without injuring the entangled rush.
