PURPOSE: To divide easily a spool output list to report units by marking on the side face of a bundle of a large quantity report output forms.

CONSTITUTION: Print image information generated in a report file generating part 4 are stored in a file storage device 2 to generate plural report files. They are inputted to a spool writer 5, and a report start signal (c) of a report unit and a line feeding and printing signal (d) of an output report are sent to a printer control part 7. A report delimiter mark generating part 6 sets and resets the delimiter mark generating function alternately for every other report start signal (e). If a form feeding signal (f) designates page alignment, a skip signal (g) onto the page boundary, a printing signal (h), and a line feeding signal (g) to a designated position are sent to a form feeding mechanism 9 and a printing mechanism 8. As the result, marks are printed on page boundaries of every other reports of the output list of a printer 3, and marks are shown clearly on the side face of the folded form.
