Abstract:

To provide a diving mask that permits a diver wearing it to see his chest easily with a simple structure and at a low price.

The diving mask includes a rigid frame 1 to support at least a sheet of transparent glass, a flexible seal 5 fitted in a pressed state to the face of a diver with a string extending from the profile of the frame 1, and glass 3 is supported by the frame 1 in a manner that allows it to be inclined downward with respect to the plane at right angles with the visual axis X of the diver, and the ratio of the height H of the glass that is measured when the mask is worn to the maximum distance between the axis of symmetry of the frame 1 and the edge of at least one sheet of glass 3, is 0.75 or higher. When the diver wears it, the downward inclination α2 is a small value between 8° and 18°, namely an image has no distortion, allowing the wearer see his chest.
