PURPOSE: To produce the subject DNA in high efficiency by extracting from a monoclonized recombinant cell coding for Met-aminopeptidase (M-AP).
CONSTITUTION: The objective DNA of the formula III or its complement coding for a Met-aminopeptidase having an amino acid sequence of the formula II is produced by transforming E.coli DG99 with a linked mixture obtained by linking pUC18 vector to a fragment obtained by the restriction enzyme treatment of a chromosome DNA extracted from E.coli CM89 strain, extracting the obtained transformant A to form a plasmid DNA, transforming the CM89 strain with the plasmid DNA to obtain a transformant B, screening the transformant B to select E.coli pSYC1174 strain C releasing Met from the amino acid sequence of the formula I and finally extracting the selected strain C.
