Abstract:
To provide an expression vector including gene DNA encoding protein having core α1,3-fucosyltransferase activity in silkworms, and recombinant protein having core α1,3-fucosyltransferase activity.
There are provided DNA encoding protein having core α1,3-fucosyltransferase activity of Lepidoptera and silkworms; an expression vector including the DNA; and a method for producing recombinant protein having the core α1,3-fucosyltransferase activity, including introducing the expression vector including the DNA into a host cell or a host individual, cultivating or breeding an obtained transformant and recovering the produced recombinant protein.
