Abstract:
To obtain a DNA encoding an enzyme useful for industrial production of L-ribose and to provide a use thereof.
This specific DNA derived from Acinetobacter encoding L-ribose isomerase to catalyze an isomerization reaction from L-ribose to L-ribulose and an isomerization reaction from L-ribulose to L-ribose is obtained. This method for producing a polypeptide by a recombinant DNA technique using the DNA is provided.
