Abstract:
PURPOSE: To industrially advantageously produce acylamino acid racemase by a fermentation method.
CONSTITUTION: A DNA fragment coding an acylamino acid racemase. A microorganism having an acylamino acid racemase-producing ability transformed by using the DNA fragment. Production of acylamino acid racemase using the microorganism. The acylamino acid racemase which is an useful enzyme for production of optically active amino acids can be produced industrially advantageously in good yield.
