Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a DNA fragment coding δ-(L-α-aminoadipyl)-L-cystyl-D- valine synthetase (ACVS enzyme) gene originated from Acremonium.chrysogenum, and the ACVS enzyme using for the same and a method for producing a β-lactam antibiotic.
CONSTITUTION: A DNA fragment of the formula, etc., coding an ACVS enzyme gene originated from Acremonium.chrysogenum, a vector recombined with the DNA fragment, a microorganism transformed with the vector, the ACVS enzyme using the transformant and a method for producing a β-lactam antibiotic are provided.
