Abstract:
To provide a DNA synthetase inhibitor which can be produced easily and causes few adverse effects.
The DNA synthetase inhibitor includes an acylated sterol glycoside as an active ingredient. A sterol skeleton thereof is preferably β-sitosterol, a sucrose thereof which is bonded as a glycoside is preferably D-glucose, an acyl group thereof is preferably linoleic acid. A specific compound as the inhibitor is, for example, β-sitosteryl (6'-O-linoleoyl)-glucoside.
