Abstract:
To provide a document carrying device for preventing foreign matters to be taken therein following sheets to be loaded, an image reader and an image forming device.
A foreign matter removing means is provided in the document carrying device or a fed sheet material supply device. When dust, sheet particles or magnetic substances are stuck on a document, non-magnetic foreign matters including dust and sheet particles are removed by a brush 26, and even when the foreign matters are electrostatically stuck on the sheet, they are effectively removed by static elimination with conductive brush 26. Magnetic substances including clips and staples are removed by using a magnet 25.
