Abstract:
To provide a document carrying device fixing a position through which a document passes in a carrying passage.
In the carrying passage from a document reading position 212 to a post-reading roller 120, after the document is read in the document reading position 212 on a platen glass 210, the document is scooped up by a scooping-up member 220, and is carried to the post-reading roller 120. A guide member 150 is placed opposite to the scooping-up member 220 to form the carrying passage, and a projection 140 projecting to the carrying passage side as a holding mechanism capable of holding the document between a top part 230 of the scooping-up member 220 and it is provided on the guide member 150.
