A document display processing part 11 of a client terminal 1 acquires document data from a document providing server 3A and displays the document data. A text extraction part 12 extracts text data included in the document data in parallel with display processing, and transmits the text data to a proper noun extraction server 2. A proper noun extraction part 26 of the proper noun extraction server 2 extracts proper noun existing in a proper noun DB21 from the text data. An additional information acquisition part 27 extracts the additional information of the pertinent proper noun from the proper value noun DB21. A proper noun acquisition part 13 receives the extracted proper noun and additional information from the proper noun extraction server 2, and a proper noun display processing part 14 displays the proper noun and the additional information side by side with the document data.
