To provide a document holder which makes it easy to take a copy of specified size by combining a plurality of documents.

The document holder 10 is composed of a 1st sheet 12 which has an end part abutting against a guide member provided at the circumference of the platen of a copying machine, has a sheet-like form capable of mounting a plurality of documents on one surface and also has a 1st mark 24 for indicating a specified position of the guide member and a 2nd sheet 14 which is formed into a transparent and flexible sheet and has one end part 28d joined nearby an end part 20d of the 1st sheet 12 which does not abut against the guide member so that one surface overlaps one surface of the 1st sheet 12 and also has a 2nd mark 36 indicating a rectangular area 34. When the document holder 10 is mounted on the platen so that the other surface 30 of the 2nd sheet 14 abuts against the platen and the 1st mark 24 indicates the specified position of the guide member, the rectangular area 34 corresponds to an area to be copied to a form with specified variable magnification.
