Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To variably adjust height of a lift member in order to adjust a gap between a document platen and a document table when the gap is formed when the document platen is closed and also to easily make an adjustment of the height.
SOLUTION: One end part of a support member 7 on the side of its rotary base end is rotatably and pivotally connected to a fitting member 5 fitted to the side of a device main body 1 via a hinge shaft 6. The rotary base end side of a lift member 11 is rotatably and pivotally connected to the other end part of the rotary tip end side of the support member 7 via a support shaft 9. The hinge shaft 6 is fitted with a cam 26 for lift member height adjustment in a freely rotated and fixed state so that its outer peripheral edge abuts on the lower surface of the rotary tip side of the lift member 11. The cam 26 is fixed to the hinge shaft 6 with a setscrew 31 having a hole, a groove, or a head and the cam 26 is rotated on the hinge shaft 6 by fitting the tip of a screwdriver tool 32 in the hole, etc., of the setscrew 31.
