Abstract:

To provide a document preparation support system for preparing a document capable of arranging merchandise information in a plurality of styles in a template by using merchandise information being unitarily managed by a database.

The server 101 has: a merchandise information database 301; and a template database 302 having template information 350, layout frame information 360 for fitting merchandise information 310, merchandise item layout information 370 and merchandise item information 380. In response to an instruction from a client terminal 103, the value of the merchansize information item is fitted for every merchandise item 58 associated from the layout frame information 360 of each layout frame 51A and 51B based on the merchandise item layout information 370, thereby preparing a PDF document in which merchandise value set information 54 are arranged in different styles corresponding to the layout frames 51A and 51B.
