PURPOSE: To simply perform the proper arrangement of plural frames without giving any burden to users.

CONSTITUTION: A frame buffer 31 of a RAM 11 stores the position information (the coordinates of start and stop points) on each frame which is acquired by a frame recognition or frame production function. Each frame is shown on a display unit 18 based on the position information stored in the buffer 31. When a frame arrangement function is designated through a keyboard 16 under such conditions, a CPU 10 acquires the position coordinates of both a reference frame and an editing object frame which are designated on a designation screen from the buffer 31. Then the CPU 10 sets the position or the size of the editing object frame at those of the reference frame based on the setting contents of 'position arrangement' or 'size arrangement' that are designated on a setting screen. Furthermore the CPU 10 changes the position information stored in the buffer 31 in response to the corresponding editing contents.
