Abstract:
PURPOSE: To execute a correction of a document on a screen by handwriting by displaying a character or a character-string inputted from a first input means on a display means, and superposing and displaying a graphic inputted from a second input means on its character or character-string.
CONSTITUTION: A key input part 2 consists of a keyboard, etc., and a pen input part 3 is realiced by a light pen or an electronic pen utilizing electromagnetic induction, etc. When a person who corrects document data puts a check in the part about which he feels uneasy or corrects it with the electronic pen, etc., while reading the document data, its contents (graphic data of line drawing) are inputted from the pen input part 3, and stored in a correction data store part 15. Also, a number of correction data written in at that time is set to 'pointer to correction data' of a character in the document data superposed and displayed on this correction data. When the correction data is deleted, 'pointer to correction data' of the corresponding character is set to '0'.
