Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and surely extend a document pressing sheet by releasing the transmission of a transmitting mechanism to a take-up roller for the document pressing sheet.
CONSTITUTION: The take-up roller 25 is positioned in a device frame 33 by a bearing 23 and an E-shaped locating snap ring 37 on both ends of the roller 25. When the original pressing sheet is extended on the take-up roller 25, a gear 26 is retreated against the action of a spring 31 to release engagement with a transmission gear 36 and the transmission of gear trains 27, 36 and 26. Since the take-up roller 25 can be independently rotated the original pressing sheet can be easily attached to the take-up roller 25. At this time, it is positioned by the bearing 23 and the E-shaped locating snap ring 37 so that a position in a thrust direction is unchanged and there is no influence by the spring 31.
