Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform registering operation of documents with the center parts thereof locked and perform only registering operation with paper sheets locked by means of rollers on both sides by arranging a hard roller at the center part and soft rollers on both sides in a roller nipping type registering device.
CONSTITUTION: In the register roller device 10 arranged in the middle of a document carrying passage for imparting registering operation, a drive roller device 11 comprising rubber rollers 13 and 13a and elastic rollers 13b and 13c made of sponge or the like installed on a drive shaft 12 and a pinch roller device 15, on which plastic rollers 17... are arranged opposing to the roller members of the drive roller, are arranged. When both ends of a shaft 16 are energized toward the shaft 12 of the drive roller device by springs 19 and 19a, the nipping pressure between roller devices at the center part is strongly set so that operation for registering and carrying may be excellently performed.
