Abstract:
PURPOSE:To transfer document data at a low price by engaging a first document editing device and a second document editing device, operating the input device of the second document editing device up to prescribed timing, and transferring the document data after the timing. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 5 of a business word processor and a control circuit 14 of a personal word processor are connected with a cable 20. In the circuit 5, a keyboard CE circuit 60 is connected to a bus 66, and the output is sent through a buffer element 61. For the circuit 14, an interface circuit 69 is connected to a keyboard 10, and the data are sent through a buffer element 68 onto a common signal line. Here, it is necessary to prevent the collision of signals on a line 67, and as conditions for the prevention, each sending is made into a hand shaking sending. Namely, this kind of sending is also called an answer-back system, and in the system, the transmission of new data is not executed when an answer for transmitted data is not received.
