To provide a document work support device for integrated processing of electronic documents and paper documents concerning a series of processing of a document decision work and a document management work.
Identifiers are assigned to both an electronic document and a paper document, and registered in a document database. In this case, the approver and the decider are able to click the identifiers of the electronic documents, and to add the identifiers to the paper documents to input them. Then, the approver and the decider click and input the identifiers in order to perform approval and decision, and manage the approval progressing conditions of the electronic documents and the paper documents in order to process them in an integrated manner. Furthermore, the receipt of external documents and the preparation of draft documents and the implementation and maintenance of the documents are processed by using the document database based on those identifiers. Thus, it is possible to perform integrated processing of the electronic documents and the paper documents across the whole document work.
