To provide a relatively simpler dodger support structure using a dodger support for generating auxiliary propulsive force of a vessel with less cost burden.
A rotation cylinder body 20 inserted with the dodger support 1 and rotatably supported is rotated by a rotation driving device 10 and the auxiliary propulsive force is generated by Magnus effect. External air is sucked from an air suction part 24 provided on the rotation cylinder body 20 and communicating the inside and the outside of the rotation cylinder body 20 by an air suction device 5 and an exfoliation area formed at a rear side of the dodger support 1 and having relatively low pressure is narrowed to reduce the pressure difference in the longitudinal direction of the dodger support 1. Thereby, pressure resistance is reduced and the auxiliary propulsive force is obtained even in the direction of wind in which the auxiliary propulsive force cannot be obtained by rotation of the rotation cylinder body 20.
