To provide a doffing device allowing each type of operation conditions such as a traveling state, a waiting state, and abnormal conditions of the doffing device to be easily grasped, and to provide an automatic winder including the same.
A doffing device 20 traveling in an arrangement direction between a plurality of winding units 10 arranged side-by-side and performing a doffing operation for the winding units 10 includes: a travel body frame 21 provided with a front cover 21a covering the front and a pair of side covers 21b, 21b' covering both sides; light emitting parts L1, L2 provided at both sides of the front cover 21a of the travel body frame 21; and a doffing control part 25 controlling a light emitting state of each of the light emitting parts L1, L2. During the traveling of the doffing device 20, the doffing control part 25 blinks the light emitting part L1 or L2 in the traveling direction.
