Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doffing device for spinning machines designed to accurately arrange an empty bobbin between bobbin holding parts of a cradle arm and capable of preventing a mistake in holding of the empty bobbin with the cradle arm and thereby carrying out stable fitting of the empty bobbin.
SOLUTION: This doffing device for spinning machines is obtained by arranging a locating means 26 for coming into contact with a cradle arm 1 and locating the cradle arm 1 when fitting an empty bobbin (b) onto the cradle arm 1 in which either one 1a of arms is freely extensible relatively to the other arm 1b. In this case, the locating means 26 is equipped with a freely advancing and retreating slider member 26 for coming into contact with the arm 1a on the fixed side of the cradle arm 1 and performing the locating of the cradle arm 1 and installed on a doffing carriage capable of running in the longitudinal direction of the spinning machines.
