Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate engagement and reduce chattering after engagement by installing a set P of engaging convex parts having different height in the axial direction, projecting on one out of a driving body and a driven body which are freely engaged each other and installing the engaging convex parts on the other. CONSTITUTION:A dog clutch apparatus C is engaged with one out of the first and the second gears 21 and 22 as the driven body through shift in the axial direction of a shifter 26. At this time, a pluraity of engaging convex part sets P consisting of the high and the low engaging convex parts 24 and 25 having different height in the axial direction are arranged radially and at equal intervals in the direction of revolution on both side of the shifter 26. While, a plurality of engaging concaved parts 27 which are engaged with the engaging convex part sets P described the above namely a pair of high and low engaging covex parts 24 and 25 are arranged radially at equal intervals on the opposite sides of each gear 21, 22. The both sides in the peripheral direction of each engaging convex part 24, 25 and the both sides in the peripherl direction of the engaging concaved part 27 are formed into reversely tapered form 42, 43 an 44, 45 respectively.
