Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dog clutch which can be favorably engaged.SOLUTION: A dog clutch 1 includes a piece 2 having outer teeth 6 extending to a radial-direction outside, and a sleeve 3 having inner teeth 7 extending to a radial-direction inside. The dog clutch is constituted in such a manner that the outer teeth 6 and the inner teeth 7 are engaged with each other by moving the sleeve 3 in the axial direction, and has flat parts 6a, 7a at least at a part of axial-direction opposing faces of the outer teeth 6 and the inner teeth 7. In the dog clutch 1, an oil groove 9 is formed in the piece 2 at an axial-direction end face 2a thereof which opposes the sleeve 3. The oil groove 9 extends to the flat part 6a of the outer teeth 6 from an internal peripheral side of the end face 2a.
