Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dog clutch easy in engagement and capable of suppressing drag loss.SOLUTION: In a dog clutch including a rotary member 4, a first fixed member 5 and a second fixed member 6 disposed in opposition to the rotary member 4 and movable in an axial direction and not rotatable in a rotating direction, and a hydraulic actuator 7 for axially moving the first fixed member 5 and the second fixed member 6, and being fixed by stopping the rotation of the rotary member 4 by engaging the rotary member 4 and the first fixed member 5, the hydraulic actuator 7 is constituted to move the first fixed member 5 forward to engage the rotary member 4 and the first fixed member 5 by supplying a prescribed engagement hydraulic pressure, and moving the second fixed member 6 backward by supplying the engagement hydraulic pressure so that the second fixed member 6 and the rotary member 4 are frictionally engaged prior to the engagement of the rotary member 4 and the first fixing member 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
