Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dome-shaped camera capable of maintaining a constant positional relationship between a camera lens and a shield case opening area and preventing a field angle of a camera from being blocked by a base-side opening end of the shield case when an imaging unit makes a rotation while ensuring a satisfactory visual field range.SOLUTION: A dome-shaped camera 10 includes an imaging unit 13 disposed in a hemisphere shell shield case 12 which has an opening area 11 through which a light beam L transmits so that the imaging unit 13 rotates on a tilt rotation axis 15, which is parallel to a center line Z of the hemisphere shell, with the optical axis L oriented to the opening area 11. The opening area 11 of the shield case 12 is formed along the peripheral surface quadrant having the center on the center line Z. The tilt rotation axis 15 is arranged to position being displaced from the center line Z to the end part 11A of the opening area 11 of the shield case 12 within the plane, and the optical axis L of the imaging unit 13 extends along a plane crossing the center line Z.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
