Abstract:
To improve the life of an oval or a track type dome contact, by reducing stress concentration on a pair of side-cut parts, during reverse operation of a central dome part.SOLUTION: In a dome contact 1, a contact spring material 2 is made oval type or track type by a pair of side-cut parts 3, a central dome part 4 of such size as can be confined on the inside of the width of the side-cut parts 3 and capable of invert return operation is formed in the center of the contact spring material 2, a flat part 6 is formed annularly on the outer boundary of the central dome part 4 with high elevation angle on the center side and gentle elevation angle for the assembly surface, and an outer boundary rising angle part 7 is formed integrally at both ends of the side-cut parts 3 on the outer boundary of the flat part 6. At the time of invert operation of the central dome part 4, the force in the plate thickness direction spreading to periphery of the central dome part 4 is confined by the flat part 6, and stress concentration on the side-cut parts 3 is relaxed by preventing the central dome part 4 from spreading, thus reducing crack in the end face of the side-cut parts 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
