The dome type building structure 12 of dome type cold temperature warehouse is constructed by juxtaposing a desired number of sets of reverse U-shaped or semicircular structure, obtained by bending the upper half section or the entirety of wavelike steel materials inward at a specified curvature and combining them from the left and right, and then coupling them each other. A chill supply section 16 is provided in the vicinity of a heat insulating layer formed to abut on the inside of the inner wall of the dome type building structure 12 and a chill generator 18 supplies chill to the chill supply section 16. The chill supply section 16 may be positioned closely to one or both leg section of the dome type building structure 12 and the chill generator 18 may be any one of a dry unit utilizing refrigeration cycle through compression/expansion of refrigerant or a wet unit utilizing heat absorbing action through circulation of cold water.
