Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an economical domed roof for which a satisfactory out-of- plane rigidity is secured.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of large beams are laid out on a structural surface of a domed roof 11 to be built in the shape of lattices. A plurality of small beams are also laid out in the shape of lattices in the structural surface of the domed roof partitioned with the large beams 12 in many-sided shape. A higher rigidity and larger-sized material than the small beams 1 is adopted for the large beams, which makes it possible to enhance the out-of-surface rigidity of the domed roof 11.
