A collection box 10 is provided with: a box body 20 fixed so as to be attachable/detachable to/from the vending machine equipped with a change extraction section from which change is ejected after charge is input, and after merchandise is selected, and formed such that only the front face is opened; a cover body 22 formed for opening/closing a front open section 20f of the box body; and a lock 24 formed for inseparably locking the cover body 22 and the box body 20. A through-opening window section is formed at the back face of the box body 20, and the box body 20 is fixed to the vending machine so as to be attachable/detachable so that the window section can be faced to the front face of the change extraction part, and the change extraction part is communicated with the box body 20. A tilting slope 26 is formed between the change extraction port opened in the change extraction part and the inside of the box body 20, so that change ejected through the change ejection port can be introduced through the opening window section to the inside of the box body 20.
