Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity and a material yield, and to enhance qualitative stability by manufacturing a pipe-shaped mold by extrusively molding a friction material raw material, and obtaining a doughnut-shaped mold by successively cutting this pipe-shaped mold at a right angle in the lengthwise direction at a prescribed thickness dimension pitch. SOLUTION: In a first step n1, a pellet-like friction material raw material is manufactured. In a second step n2, this pellet-like friction material raw material is supplied to a kneading extruder to manufacture a pipe-shaped mold by extrusion molding. In a third step n3, the obtained pipe-shaped mold is successively cut at a right angle in the lengthwise direction at a prescribed thickness diemsion pitch to obtain a doughnut plate-like friction plate. In a fourth step n4, a doughnut plate-like mold obtained by slice work is heat-treated, an unhardened thermoplastic resin component contained in the doughnut plate-like mold is hardened, and a rubber component is vulcanized at the same time to thereby obtain the doughnut plate-like friction plate.
