To prevent a water leak into an indoor side of an inner panel in a door for an automobile wherein an outer panel and inner panel are joined, and a resinous carrier plate is placed on the indoor side of the inner panel to cover an opening of the inner panel.

A peripheral edge of an opening 30 of an inner panel 14 and a carrier plate 31 are sealed with a sealing material pressed between them. A seal projecting part 50 is provided integrally in the carrier plate 31 in a state that it is located in the upside of a sealing part 32 which is in the downside of the opening 30, and the front edge of the plate passes through the opening 30 of the inner panel 14 and projects towards an outdoor side of the inner panel 14. The seal projecting part 50 regulates the flow of water over a sealing part 32. The seal projecting part 50 comprises a horizontal part projecting in a horizontal direction and a vertical part projecting upwards from the horizontal part.
