To prevent large stress from being generated in a boundary between a frame member constituting a door body and a resin material panel or honeycomb panel fitted into the inside of the door body.
A floating body type flap gate is installed in an opening or gateway of a tide barrier or breakwater, and a tip side thereof stands and swings with a base end side as a rotation axis in a plane in a height direction in a water inflow direction in order to block the opening or gateway when water flows into it. In the floating body type flap gate in which, for example, a resin material panel 4 is fitted into a door body 1 formed of a frame member 2 fitted into a door body 1 and a skin plate 3 in a box-shape, a cover plate 5 covering the resin material panel 4 fitted into the door body 1 is prevented from being jointed to the frame member 2. Because large stress is not generated in a boundary between the resin material panel and the frame member even when an additional load such as a vehicle is applied to the cover plate at a usual time when it serves as a road surface, the thickness the cover plate can be set efficiently and increase in the weight of the door body and cost can be suppressed.
