Abstract:
To provide a door closing fitting for an automotive luggage room, capable of locking a door in position without using a rope and a chain.
A base 1 is fixed to a side wall A of an automotive luggage room and a door of the luggage room is fixed to a door fixing plate 2. The door fixing plate 2 is pivotally supported by the base 1. An engagement body 7 can be displaced upwardly by a button 6 and a fitting groove 7a adapted to be fitted to the upper end of the door fixing plate 2 is formed in position on the engagement body 7. A coil spring 9 gives downward force to the engagement body 7.
