PURPOSE: To make it possible to prevent the entrance of rain or the like into a vehicle compartment and as well to prevent persons and burdens from getting wet with rain or the like, by providing covers for covering the opening parts of doors of a vehicle when the doors are opened.

CONSTITUTION: A cover 3 is provided so that the cover 3 is developed between a vehicle body 1 and a door 2 when the door 3 is opened. More specifically, in the case of a slide door 2, the cover 3 is developed like a tent. Further, in the case of a balanced-lever lift door 2' for the rear cargo compartment, the cover 3 is arranged laterally to the door 2'. Furthermore, in the case of the door 2" of a generally used passenger vehicle, the cover 3 is extended above the door 2" and the vehicle body 1. With this arrangement, the entrance of rain, snow or the like into the vehicle compartment is prevented when the doors 2 through 2" are opened for the getting on and off of the persons or the introducing in and out of the burdens, and as well the persons and the burdens are prevented from getting wet with rain, snow or the like.
