A door 14 for opening and closing a rear opening 7 of a display casing 1 is hinged to an edge of the opening 7 is provided at its front surface with a lighting system 30 and a front metal frame 17 surrounding the lighting system 30 having support pieces 20, 21 which are formed in the front end part of the frame 17 and which hermetically support at their front ends transparent panels 22, 23 covering the front surface of the lighting system 30. An elastic seal 25 is laid between the peripheral edge parts of the front surfaces of the support pieces 20, 21 and a rear frame 8 provided to the opening 7 of the display casing 1 and facing the peripheral edge parts of the front surfaces the support piecds 20, 21 during closing of the door 14.
