PURPOSE: To prevent the opening of a door based on impact or the like by arranging an engaging protrusion plate for safety which abuts an engaging protrusion part of a handle side latch member to release the regulation of rotation in the opening of the door and an engaging protrusion plate for holding which holds a latch groove at an standby angle to permit engagement with a body side latch member to open or close the door simply.
CONSTITUTION: An engaging protrusion plate 17 for safety of a handle 11 makes a latch groove 16a of a handle side latch member 16 turn downward from a body side latch member 16. At this point. a protruding end of the engaging protrusion plate 18 for holding turns downward with a holding protrusion part 16c of the handle side latch member 16. Moreover, when the handle 11 is pulled, the handle side latch member 16 also turns being pulled with the body side latch member 7 and an engaging protrusion part 16b of the handle side latch member 16 moves to the side of an inclined part 17c running over a release regulating jut part 17b of the engaging protrusion plate 17 for safety so that the engagement is released between the engaging protrusion part 16b and the release regulating jut part 17b to unlock a safety lock. Moreover, with further pulling of the handle 11, latching is released between the latch groove 16a and the body side latch member 7 and the door is opened.
