Abstract:
To provide a door frame structure which can be simplified by reviewing conventional production steps of a cavity hem of a door frame which requires three steps of down flange processing, pre-hemming processing and rope hem processing (or flat hem processing), and to provide a production method of the same.
In the door frame structure having a folded-back edge on an edge of a metal plate material forming a door frame of a vehicle, the folded-back edge does not contact to a main plate material and a distance between the main plate material and the folded-back edge from the folded-back bent part to the tip end becomes longer and is inclined shape.
